Instructions
- 1
Place cold cream cheese on a large sheet of cling wrap. Cover with another sheet.
- 2
Roll into a rectangle approximately 32 cm x 23 cm (13" x 9") using a rolling pin (Note 2).
- 3
Peel off the top layer of cling wrap. Arrange salami slices on top, slightly overlapping.
- 4
Cover salami with a fresh sheet of cling wrap. Press gently, then flip so the cream cheese faces up.
- 5
Remove cling wrap from the cream cheese side. Sprinkle evenly with capers and herbs.
- 6
Starting from the long edge, roll up tightly, peeling off the cling wrap as you go to avoid air pockets.
- 7
Wrap the finished roll with cling wrap, twist ends to seal, and refrigerate at least 4 hours to firm.
- 8
Unwrap, slice into bite-sized rounds, and serve with crackers.

Recipe Notes
Large deli-style salami slices are easier to handle than small rounds. Spicy salami adds extra flavor.
If you don’t own a rolling pin, flatten the cream cheese with your hands or use an unopened can. Slightly softened cream cheese makes this easier.
This recipe was inspired by the Salami Cream Cheese Roll Ups from Sugar Apron, with the clever cling wrap technique.
